Salvos Trek: video of our 2017 trek

In April 2017, 27 trekkers on the Salvos Adventure Fundraising trek, set off in gruelling conditions on the 96km Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. The trip coincided with the 75th anniversary of the Kokoda Campaign. Commemorating Anzac Day at Brigade Hill was, for many of the trekkers, one of the trip’s highlights. The team raised more than $166,000 for the Salvos to help change the lives of others. We are very proud to have ‘hosted’ this trek for the Salvation Army.

The Salvos were on the track in 1942 providing support and hope for our soldiers during battle. You can join them and Back Track Adventures on their next Kokoda Trek for Hope in September 2019. Register your interest – here.
